CPU goes up to 100C

So I got a 2015 Razer a few months ago and overall it's a really solid machine. I've been using open hardware monitor to watch the temperatures and the GPU never goes over 80C or so no matter how hard I push it. However, the CPU is recording temperatures of 70C idle (seems a bit high) and then 100C under load which is definitely too hot.

So Razer users on the internet, would you be willing to share your thoughts?

- What's the normal operating range for the CPU?
