Temporary Gaming Laptop

I am looking for a laptop that I'll be temporarily using for a year or so. During that time I'm going to be saving up money for a higher end laptop. I just need one now since I don't have a laptop to use throughout my school year.

1) What is your budget?
- To be determined, but since I am not going to be using for long, then preferably 1000$-1200$ max and no minimum.

2) What size notebook would you prefer?
- 13" - 15" screen size.
