Gaming or Multimedia for Camming

Hi,

I'm going to take this one step at a time in figuring out which laptop to get.

First, I just learned there's a difference between a gaming & multimedia laptop. What difference is I don't know.

I do camming & I have 4 camming sites open at the same time with an external cam. Which one do I need to be looking for, gaming or multimedia?

I heard the processor & graphics card are THE two most important aspects I need to look for.
