Aurora M9700 working until I reattached the LCD front cover panel

I removed the front bezel when I was considering replacing the LCD panel. Today I reattached the cover, very carefully, or so I thought. Now the computer starts up (I can hear the Windows tones) but the screen is black.

What did I do??? Any suggestions? Please

P.S. The num lock and caps lock icons don't light up now either. The other icons do.
