Thoughts on the Gigabyte P55W v4?

I was thinking about purchasing this : http://ift.tt/1KCPg3N as a midrange gaming laptop. Does anyone have experience with Gigabyte laptops and how they shape up?

If not this, what is a better alternative? I would prefer a 970m and a price below $1400.
