today I read an article on winfutere http://ift.tt/1GH1tg6 and one sentence there caught my attention.

"Microsoft zufolge kann es außerdem vorkommen, dass Geräte mit einem bestimmten Fingerabdrucksensor des Herstellers AuthenTec diesen nach dem Upgrade auf Windows 10 nicht mehr unterstützen."
which roughly translates that there is the possibility for some fingerprint devices from AuthenTec to not work properly anymore after upgrading to windows 10.
