I built a cute little mini-ITX gaming rig some years ago, and it's serving me well for any of my graphics/storage needs so I clearly don't need that from a laptop. I currently have an ancient portable room heater as my laptop (it can maintain 95 Celsius CPU temps for 30 minutes straight on full load, not kidding), and I'm patiently waiting it out for a Skylake laptop.
