Clean Install Win 8.1 on an Acer?

Is there a way to clean install Windows 8.1 on an Acer? I extracted the key, but when I go to install Windows 8.1 it asks for a key (which is emedded in BIOS) and when I enter it, it says it can find no such key.

I don't want all the bloat, I just want a clean install myself. Any suggestions?
