All the values in the latest bios (1.10) seem to be good (every option that's nice to have is enabled), except that, for me, UEFI boot isn't working.
Also, VSS modding doesn't seem to stick unless i change the value in both the Setup and the Custom variable, so I just did this with a hex editor (ACER doesn't have checksums on uncompressed VSS volumes). However, this requires a bios DUMP for each laptop, and then that to be modified. Instead, i like...
